My husband Damon Haley and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on Saturday night. We usually spend our anniversary and bring in the new year in a different country engulfed in diverse culture, amazing food and learning new customs from around the globe but this year we decided to celebrate our love at home in an intimate dinner party with our families and a few of our closest friends.
I have worked with so many amazing clients all over the world, creative partners and creative minds but in doing so I also compromise my vision to some degree for the sake of giving clients what they want, making my team feel included in my vision and to respect the perspective that everyone brings to a project. Pinterest and Instagram give us greater access to beautiful visuals but they also create more copycats and less original moments of creative expression. So on this one I did it my way. No collaborations. No input. No different perspectives. Free to make mistakes until I got it right. Showcasing my custom Spiked Placemats from my new line of products. All my vision from start to finish with all of the creative ques that have been bottled up inside of me – moments of grandeur I have been dying to express and all executed solely by me and the DVLW team!
